Monday night pub quiz at The Arc

Last week we started at 8pm, don't know what the arrangement is this week, but best to get there around 7:30 to ensure you get a beer and into a team.

Last week was fun. I will be there tonight.

Again, we'll start around 8pm so people (like me) can get some Tex-Mex before they go.

Will there be a Pub Quiz at the Arc tonight?

I was told there will be, but Dr. Matt is not doing the questions (dunno who is). I plan on rolling in around 7 or so.

Yeah, DW is right. He's on holidays this week. I forget who the replacement is...but it still should be a good time.

Muzza is the Quizman this week. A very smart aussie cricketer, who should be able to google you all.

Oh yes. Thanks to the return of Topsy and the added benefits of greg and Eric the Hamster; our team reclaimed its first place berth. See Canuck, stealing the team name doesn't help, it's actual brains that do the trick.

It's not actual brains that make the difference for the pub quiz...its employing effective cheating skills. We didn't cheat effectively last night...and that's the bottom line.

If the Jegermeister shot question had actually been worth points my team woulda won!

Dr Matt is back next week, but Hazza makes an excellent substitute, based on the evidence of last night.

It was a brand new gang out of the blue and they won every damn round last night.

They won the beer round, shots round, jackpot question, and the entire quiz.

That was a washout.

Hey Tim, you can form a team beforehand, but there are plenty of pick-up teams there in case it doesn't work out. 2 weeks ago Hazza was very strict and made a guy leave his friends and play with a bunch of strangers. He probably didn't mind too much, since it was the winning team.

Yeah, agree with Bubbly. I've been 3 times now, all times with a vague idea of team mates, but have ended up on a different team each time!

Well this week was a bit of a washout, only 4 teams, and there seems to be fewer and fewer TT'ers. Pretty boring as well with 1 team winning everything, I smell foul play !

Well, if there were only 4 teams, it's hardly unlikely for one team to do well. Only so many brainiacs in the crowd, you know?

Will be there horribly jet-lagged at about 19:30.
