HI there, I am really interested in your posted add. I'm a Irish student and I'm moving back to Hamburg for a few months from June 12th. I'm available to work full time...lucky you!I had previously lived in Hamburg for two summers just gone but worked in an Irish Bar. I really would love the challenge as an English teacher. I feel I would gain job satisfaction from this position. I have little experience teaching however I have taught disadvantage children with my college out reach program and really enjoyed it. I really hope you may consider me for the position. Hope to hear from you soon!
Thanking you
Shona

Just to let you guys know, This is not suitable for the short term.
We use a method in our teaching which needs to be learnt therefore it makes no sense learning the method
only to be using it for a few months.
Thank you all for your interest however.

Hi there, I'm an Englishman, living in South Africa & married to a German citizen (don't ask).
We have been looking to re-locate to Germany and coincidentally our grandparents live in Schenefeld. My wife is fluent in German, I'm fairly competent after having lived in Gutersloh for 2 years in the 80's.
How quickly do you need this position to be filled?

Hello
I am British (Welsh to be precise!) and am moving to Lueneburg on June 20th. I have no job lined up yet apart from some freelance graphic design from my previous employer, and will be seeking work.
Although I have had no direct teaching experience, I do have good business skills, and do have experience standing in front of a class of students, albeit karate students!
I will call you when I arrive in Germany, as I am keen to find a long-term position, and teaching does interest me.
Ich kann etwas Deutsch sprechen, und ich bin naturlich Fliessend auf Englisch.
Many thanks
Barri

Hi there BristolGuy,
Please can you gve me more info on the job- what are the hours to be worked? I have recently been offered a job teaching kids. There doesn't seem to be too many hours available at the moment however I have told the company I am flexible- (available mon-fri)
I have been in Hamburg for 1 month now and looking to get into teaching english. I do not have previous teaching however I feel I possess the qualities to be able to teach English. What training to you provide? I am intending to stay here for 2 years and would really like to kickstart a career in teaching having previously spent the past few years working in an office gaining little job satisfaction.

Hello,
I'm interested in this position and not on a short-term basis. I am an American that really wants to move over to Germany and the best way to do so is to obtain employment ahead of time. I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in History and an associate's degree in Criminal Justice Magna Cum Laude. I have work experience, a resume and references that I can provide.
I have family in Germany and I speak German--poorly in my opinion, but I speak it nonetheless. If you're interested, then please contact me via e-mail at aaronjherring@yahoo.com and I can provide further information.
Thanks!
Aaron

Hello,
I am interested in a long- term English teaching position, preferrably in the Hamburg area. I am Canadian and hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, as well as Arts (sociology). I've been working in an ESL kindergarten class in Brno, Czech Republic for a year where I've had the opportunity to apply linguistic theories I studied while doing my Education degree. Through the use of drama, music, fine arts, math, literacy, and physical education I've been teaching children a new language and have been fascinated by the results. This has been a natural extension from the experiences I gained working as a supply teacher and completing my pedagogical internship where I had the opportunity to teach French as a second language. During this time, I also taught across the curriculum and became heavily involved in some of the school's extracurricular activities.
I would love to learn more about your school and teaching practices. Please contact me at jennifer_robergerenaud@yahoo.ca. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you!

Hi, I moved to Hamburg 2 months ago from England and am a native English speaker. I would be interested in teaching English and am available to work straight away. I was going to take the CELTA course here in July, but if I can teach without spending 1500€ then Id be much happier!!
Contact me at amyshepherd77@tiscali.co.uk if you are interested. ( Ive only taught horse riding before, but I have 14 years experience in that and I reckon without the horses the people should be easier?!,...or I may be wrong!)
