its gonna be a year in August, and still found no job here...
Where r all the English speaking jobs??

Are you only looking for a software job? I am confident you could find in another area maybe not the area you'd like to work in but some kind of admin work and then move up from there? Why not consider that?

I hate to point out the obvious but English speaking jobs are more likely to be found in countries where the usual language is English...
Here they speak German rolleyes.gif

There have been a couple of threads on similar topics...

Coincidently a guy who was in same class as I in senior school (in UK) lives in Germany - either he or his wife are/have been involved in software testing BUT AFAIK their working language is German - they learnt the language...

@bail_me_out: I can point you to a couple of testing jobs. By the way, it's not in Frankfurt but not too far from Frankfurt either. Commuting (by Bahn as well) would probably be unreasonable, unless you have a car and are willing to drive back and forth daily. If your qualifications are what you say they are, you may have a good shot at it.

PM me if you're interested. If you have a link to your resume online somewhere, send me that too. Cheers.

Anyhow, yes, am enrolling for German language classes too, a new language learnt is always for the best, specially when u r in a country that speaks it!!!

After a quick search, two English speaking QA jobs.

one from Monster
and another one

Your mileage may vary, but I found monster.com useful. I had my curriculum posted there, a company based in Frankfurt called me for an interview and liked me, I liked the city, so I moved here.
I am also a tester, by the way.

good luck

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the links. I went ahead and applied there.
I second that Frankfurt's a great place. Am yet to visit Italy & other 'exotic' places nearby though
How are you managing with German at ur workplace?

I believe (almost) all the companies here have all their documentation in German..
