Easy day hike on Sunday 11.May.2008

Hi everybody,
last week´s hike was fun, so I decided -on very short notice, sorry- to do another one tomorrow. Maybe again on Monday as well, the weather is very promising. :-)
So here we go:
Again to Klais (behind Garmisch-Partenkirchen) by train, 1.45 h, and then we hike to a lake. Afterwards to beautiful meadows. I haven´t done this hike before but bought a new guidebook, and this tour sounds awesome! It promises quiet mountain lakes, spectacular mountain views and meadows for dreaming. The hike itself is 3.30 to 4 hours and easy, the only elevation is 200 m. The guidebook calls it "easy hike and suited for children". I suppose we can do it, too, then! :-))
Meeting point again inside Hauptbahnhof in front of the Internationale Presse, at 9:00 am. Train leaves at 9.32. Last time I found out that it is recommendable to meet up a bit earlier to sort out people and tickets. :-) Trains tend to be full so it is best to hop in way before the train leaves. There might be a few German speakers coming along- I hope, this doesn´t scare anyone off! Of course I am happy to function as your interpreter. :-)
There are no possibilites for food and drink on the way, so bring everything, especially water! We will stop on the meadows to chill out, I suppose... :-)

I read your post too late so have missed today's hike. Sounds wonderful and just what I would have wanted - nevermind!

If you are planning one for tomorrow, I will most likely be up for that. Pls let me know if you decide to go out again tomorrow - just PM me or call me on 0172 644 2629. I would be up for a relatively "easy" hike, similar to the one you are doing today.
