Average temperatures in Hamburg in May and June

What weather can I expect when I visit?

I'll be in Hamburg and Berlin (also Leipzig, Dresden) during mid-May to mid-June.

What should I expect the weather to be like -- so I know what clothes to bring/not bring?

Is it likely to get below 50 degrees Fahrenheit -- I think that's around 10 degrees Celsius -- in any of those locations during that period?

Thanks.

Prepare for everything but snow - it can be wet and windy in Hamburg at any time of the year.

Thanks -- how cold, though?

This site gives the average low in Hamburg as 7 in May, 10 in June - but if it's wet and windy and you're from California, you're going to think it's sub-zero. smile.gif

I agree with that. It might be roasting hot but the chances of it being 12 C and wet are higher.

And some days, if you don't like the rain, give it five minutes and you'll get something completely different.

That's great, many thanks.

P.S. - I'm not from California and I deal better with cold weather better than hot. If 7 degrees Celsius is about as low as it gets, I know what to bring.

I thought that was what was said about Iceland...

With the west coast of Norway, they say it only rains twice a week – once for three days and once for four days.
