however, we cant log in, as it redirects back with the domain name

brenz, you could edit the forum via FTP and replace all references of thegamerstavern.com/forum with 66.7.215.221/~thegamer/forum and we would be back up! or we wait until our useless hosts figure out how to keep a server running more than 2 days at a time...

everythings down for now, should be back up tomorrow morning on godaddy.

I will have the info as soon as godaddy emails me. They said it takes up to 24hours to get things set up. As soon as I get the infor (IP address etc.) We can start uploading files and get the boards and chat up and running.

We will have to wait 30 days before we can connect via dns url, so until then its IP.

No they said it could take 24hours the buggers! The email will contain confirmation that it is up, plus the IP and whatnot. THen I will upload at least the chat and then you can upload your blog, dave the forums etc.

I have also purchased a dedicated IP, I have uploaded both the chat and the blog, and there are 4 forums types to choose from if we want. Once the chat is up we can talk about that.

I will let you know once i get our dedicated IP, because our server IP just comes up with 403 FORBIDDEN error if I try to connect VIA browser.

What options do we have for the forums then?

shit I cannot access the control panel yet. FUckers, anyway our IP is 72.167.225.221. I have to get back in because there is somethign wrong with the chat and blog as I get a 500 error. I may have to upload them again. I forget the 4 forums that they provide, one of the is vanilla. We can use what we want, but to use one of theirs is really easy.

I guess it depends on what they provide. If they have Simple Machines, that'd be pretty cool to have.
