Exchange my English for your German

I'm currently having German lessons with a private tutor but am not really getting much of a chance to practice my German outside of the lessons. I have an 18 month old daughter so just wondered if there were any German speaking Mums with a similar aged toddler who fancied meeting up every couple of weeks in a park/cafe so the children could play whilst we practised our German/English. My German is still at a fairly basic level. I live in Berg am Laim but would be happy to meet up somewhere central.

My German is terrible and my friend has introduced me to Tandem ( Link - http://www.tandem-muenchen.de/lernpartner_en.html) You exchange your mother tongue for German and they pair you with simmilar people. Ther is a small introduction fee but all you need is basic German and a willingness to help others. Take a look at the link. Hope this may help.
