Life in the town of Fellbach

I am a DAC and will be moving with my family around mid to end of June, will be working in Patch Barrack. I will really appreciate any information on Fellbach. Based on what i have read on this site, i think RB Elementary will be more suitable for my 2nd grader hence the choice of Fellbach. This is a question from my wife :-) is it relatively easy to find a house with a master bedroom where you can comfortably fit a king size bed?

When looking for a house to buy last year, just about every master bedroom that I saw would easily fit our 200cm by 200cm bed, which is roughly equivalent to a US standard King size (76" by 80" or 193 by 203 cm). The house we bought isn't all that big, but the bed, plus two night tables and a dresser with mirror, plus a huge wall cabinet all fit nicely. Our previous two rental apartments in Germany also had adequately large master bedrooms. Tell your wife not to worry

What will take some getting used to is the lack of closets. Not just walk-in closets, but closets of any kind. Very rare in typical German houses. So you might want to plan on getting an extra room that you might not otherwise have, and make it your walk-in closet. That's how we get around it.
