Sushi night. For those TTers who like their fish raw.
The venue will be Ebisu Lounge near the main railway station. Please let me know by posting "I'm in" or similar in this thread if you'd like to come along, and I'll return the compliment by reserving a reasonably appropriate number of places.
Thank you.

Can't make this one. Sorry.

I hate to be negative but I will never set foot in Ebisu again. Been to two Frankfurt n Motion events there and both were unmitigated catastrophes. I've gotten better service from the mess corporals in the chow hall at Ft Leonard Wood. I guess if they let me bring my own waitress and my own beer I'd maybe consider it.

I agree with DanHessen. Can we go to another Sushi place?

Venue can be changed as no-one has signed up yet... Where would you suggest? As there's no idea of numbers yet and I don't get back to
Germany until Tuesday afternoon for making a reservation, please don't pick the most exclusive one in FFM

For anyone else there will be a Sushi night, it will be in Frankfurt, it will be on
Wednesday...

Kabuki is a great place, but going there just for Sushi is not recommended. Teppan-Yaki is what they do best and all of those dishes I had so far were excellent. I'm going to be out of town next Wed and don't know whether I'll be back by 8pm so count me in as a maybe.

With teppanyaki, it can help to think of it more as entertainment with some cooked food thrown in: the emphasis privileges the show over the food. It's nice if they can get both right, but it's rare and most places don't. And since "don't play with your food" was repeatedly drummed into me as a kid, I don't see why anyone else should be able to either.
