The Strandbar in Berlin-Mitte is missing
Beach bar opposite the Bode Museum
The strand bar near bode museum! Is missing what am I going to do all summer. I left it there last year and now it gone. Who do I write to to get it back.
That is shit...The Strande bar was an integral part of my Berlin existence last year!!

They want to put the bar again there but without beach. don't know when, though...

Yeh I went past it last Friday it was lovely weather just missing the sand and that didnt seem to put off the passing patrons, it was packed. Just as easy to get a drink and sit in the sun just saves getting the sand between the toes!
Forget about it, Berlin is losing it's old character by the day, places like the Strandbar are being wiped out so that everywhere conforms to homogenised German blandness, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before Tacheles gets the chop as well. You may as well go and live in fucking Stuttgart or Frankfurt or any other soulless German shithole. Come to think of it, you may as well go and live in Milton Keynes and pretend you were still in Germany.
