Freelance work permits for Indian nationals

Hi All

I'm an Indian citizen on dependent Visa in Germany.My husband is working here on work permit,

I would like to know what documentation/work permit I need if I work as a freelancer here..

Pls suggest where I can get more info...

Depends on your husband's visa. What is written in his passport?

Dependents from India usually do not have a work permit. You need to apply for one. If u like to work as a free lancer, there are some conditions like - how far you will be able to influence the german economy and how far will the business profit germany. The best thing would be to get some advice from the Auslanderburo in your city and hopefully u find someone speaking English there.(If you know german, this is not a problem).
