One of my greatest joys is being helpful to people.
As I finish my undergraduate degree (in theater) over the next week I will be preparing to transition into life after education. In all my experiences in Europe I have decided that I have never enjoyed my life more than the time I have spent there. After returning from Prague, where I was an exchange student last spring, I started working as an office assistant at Columbia College Chicago (where I am about to graduate from). I could not imagine a better future than combining these two life components.
I work very well in an environment where I can be involved in a multitude of projects. I have a meticulous attitude pertaining to completing my projects within designated time frames. My undergraduate work has been centered in solving problems in an artistic manner whereas my office job (an assistant in the department of International Programs at Columbia College Chicago) has allowed me to tackle issues in a more traditional and efficient process. Because of these two things I am well suited to facing a wide variety of challenges.
I also have a history with the German language. For five years before I came to Chicago (in 2004) I took German classes and always did well. I spent two weeks in Germany after my second year of German classes. Also while living in Prague I spent some time in Berlin and also in Munich. In the short time I was there I felt a strong connection with the city and of course the German culture.
I have a CV in German and one in English available upon request.
If anyone has a job that I could be considered for please email me!
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
