i've booked it for the next time we are in
berlin, which will be June.
It was recommended on the Guardian's top 10 whacky things to do in Berlin so i'm curious to know if anyone has eaten here and if so, what was it like?

theres a threat somewhere with that, called "dining in the dark" dunno how to post it here

I've been to the one in Berlin.
It is very, very dark.
You cant even see your hand in fron of your face.
A good experience and you really get to know the people you are with, as you can no longer rely on eye contact/facial expression
Have fun!
of course its very very dark, it shall give you the experience to dine like a blind person, duh

ok cool thanks for replies. I've booked Unsicht, cause i think the experience will be really unique, just wanted to see what the verdict was on the food. Menu looks good online although the riddles were somewhat confusing! Something different at least.

I was talking to a woman about this place a few weeks ago. It seems the experience was so intense and disorienting for her that she had to be escorted outside to get her bearings and stop dizziness.
She said the staff were totally cool about it and apparently that happens sometimes - so dont feel like an ass if the place gives you a physical reaction.
