Tasks
· Monitor, control and operate the real-time telecommunications network
· Provide 1st level network solutions
· Maintain availability of the Network Management systems hardware and software
· Control escalation of all Network components, hardware and software
· Perform quality line analysis including protocol traces for problem isolation and rectification

Your Profile
· Logical approach to fault finding within a large network arena.
· Good knowledge of telecomunication standards and practises . TCP/IP
· Knowledge of LAN principles and protocols . Ethernet,
· Knowledge of routing devices and products (CISCO router family)
· Good general knowledge of network management tools (i.e. HP Openview NNM, Ciscoworks, SNMP & TOPX).
· Telecomunication operating experience in large international network, including systems training in hardware and software.
· Prior experience within a 24/7 environment.
