Sales Administrator
To provide administrative support to the US Sales team and occasionally direct assistance to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase orders from customers
- Ensuring customer orders reflect current pricing
- Service Contract Entry
- Keep track of the Backlog report
- Take charge of dealing with any internal process/procedure issues related to customer orders
- Assisting in getting orders expedited when necessary
- Following up with customers/Account Executive on shipping issues
- Maintenance of lead registration program
- Provide product support, pricing, and develop initial sales quotes for each customer for assigned Account Executive
- Assists Account Executives in developing proposals
- Understand each partner’s product offering
Key Competencies:
- Good oral and written communication skills – editing work for spelling and grammar, speaking clearly and persuasively, writing clearly and informatively
- Bachelors Degree (BA) or relevant experience
- Experience in Sales
- Ability to read an interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak in groups
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
- Good IT software skills i.e. word processing and spreadsheets
