Think I'll be there. Not sure yet. May bring 3 people with me if I go!

Definitely will try and make it as well. Have not had Sunday breakfast for a long long time.

A bit chaotic (not surprising for the first day) but the service was friendly and the food excellent. Looking forward to visiting again when it opens properly.

Just got back and I am stuffed. Time for a lazy Sunday afternoon nap.
And ah yes, growing pains. But the damn good Bloody Mary's made up for the missing bacon* from my order.

*Don't worry Dory, I was too busy chasing Ian around to even notice until we were about to leave. I am sure I will get a double portion next time. Ummm, can't wait.

damn! i guess i missed it - that's what i get for staying in bed until 2. is TB open this evening or did i imagine that?

thanks Texas Tornado & Crew for the hard work. My fingers are too fat from eating too much eh to type up a proper post. The food was good and portions were huge. I'm full and happy.

On request for a brunch, can we have some large pots of filter coffee for the tables? I was really in a coffee mood this morning, and that was a bit slow

Otherwise great place and location. Look forward to future visits and more brunch (and other great foood...)

Thanks guys for a great Sunday brunch. It's almost time for dinner and I am no where near being hungry! The breakfast burrito was fabulous and quite filling and the Bloody Mary's were the best Looking forward to many more meals and memories...

Loved the breakfast burrito and mimosas. They definitely exceeded my tex mex breakfast expectations.

Bursting with pride I was when I saw the food Juergen & Gene, ahem, King Kling and Papa Geno were cranking out of the kitchen. Drew was brilliantly calm, cool & collected as was Michelle, who came by to eat breakfast and spent the entire morning making coffee.

@ Pootle - Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! we'll feature the bottomless coffee.

Tex Mex Fans - Our first day coming right up this Wednesday. We'll be open for lunch and dinner. Remember, we have a different menu each week for the first six. The food that goes on our final core menu are based upon popular request.

I will post this week's menu on the appropriate thread.

I have one regret - I wish I hadn't eaten the full platter of sausage gravy and biscuits, so I could have also order the burrito and the obatzda. Doh!

Mini-pup also regrets this decision, though he was also extremely impressed with the sausage gravy , as well as the quality of the water dishes...

I think I sampled most of menu (OK...I sampled all of it..I admit) and everything was really good. I still love that Obatzda!! MMmm...Good Lavazza coffee too!!

Damn! I really wish I could have been there, reading all of this is making me sooooo hungry. I'm looking forward to post Wednesday . Will there be a special mini-opening this Wednesday?

Will have some drink specials, but our "Opening Party" is in 8 weeks when we announce the final menu. We have a sponsor for the event so it's free beer and we will let everyone taste the winning food items from the previous six weeks battle of the food contest.

I know it's all a bit different and strange, but it's never been done before and it's Twisted.

FYI, I also noticed on Sunday that, unless you were careful when leaving, the front door would slam. Not sure if your neighbors can hear it.
