I am from India, and have a German workpermit, and the related visa of three months whose validity starts from 15th June. I need to urgently travel to Iceland on Business Visa , How can i do that ? Can I apply for a Business visa.. Someone told me that i cannot hold two valid visa for the same period or i cant apply for a visa to Iceland? Is it true?

If you're going on business, shouldn't your employer be taking care of it?
santoshkusnur
hey Kay, They are telling me the same... I need to find a workaround before they figureout one

When will you be in Iceland? After June 15th and within the 3 month period following June 15th, or before or after this period? It isn't clear.
If you are travelling to Iceland after June 15th and within the 3 months of your Schengen Visa, you are covered for travel to Iceland: Article 16
If you have questions, your best bet is to contact Icelandic Immigration.

I need to Travel before 15th June

Then you will probably need an additional visa. Either email Icelandic Immigration using the above website's contact form, or contact the Danish Embassy in New Delhi or the Italian Consulate in Calcutta if you're still in India, as both handle visas on Iceland's behalf.
The visas may overlap or the Iceland visa may be limited to your business trip only, I don't know, but I'm sure Immigration or the contacts given will be able to advise.

Dont understand what the problem is? If you are still in India, what is stopping you from applying for a business visa? They wouldnt give a damn about your other visas anyways.

If you are in India and travelling to Iceland before u come to Germany, I think you are free to apply for the visa to Iceland. Just think of very busy people who need to travel to different countries at different times. They will keep applying for the visa and receive it from time to time. I dont think you have to worry abt going to iceland.I suggest @Katrinas idea was a good one...
