A rapidly growing and internationally operating online organisation is searching for an English-speaking Senior Product Manager for the CRM/Email Marketing division. This is a great opportunity to join an exciting industry and a well established online organisation!

My client is based in the heart of Munich and you will be working in a truly international team with a lot of different nationalities. The business language is English; however additional languages are a bonus!

Main tasks and responsibilities

* Definition and implementation of defined projects in the product management
* Management of the CRM roadmap
* Building CRM and Email Marketing to the forefront of business drivers
* Research and analysis for the development and enhancement of website
* Manage CRM team of 2-4 people plus students

This includes the following areas
* KPI analysis and member-database analysis
* Defining projects for new functions, features, service elements; writing specifications, definition of aspired results and respective methods to measure the aspired results (metrics)
* Management of implementation of projects: Detailing specifications and clearing questions and
open points as well as avoiding misunderstandings in technical implementation; project review,
evaluation of aspired project results and documentation of learnings
* Internal coordination of projects and necessary input for implementation

Education
* University studies
* Prolonged stay abroad (> 6 mths)

Experience
* Preferably minimum 2+ years professional experience
* Project management: Planning (implementation and controlling of projects), critical chain management
* Team leading experience
* Extensive analytical work
* Used to work with data / numbers and turning these into customer communication
* Leading and managing external partners and agencies
* Practical knowledge in Email Marketing and/or customer segmentation/data mining and/or direct marketing
* Logic / logical thinking Understanding of the Internet
* Enough technical understanding to speak the language of IT-people and to write precise specification in a way a technical person understands
* Project management: planning, implementation and controlling
* MS office, particularly strong in Excel
* English fluent in writing and speaking

Desired
* Development of website (products), graphical user interfaces, user navigation, web producing; usability)
* Technical operation of websites (also smaller ones)
* Basic html-programming (possibly other front-end programming languages)
* Development of specifications (Pflichtenhefte); writing documentation
* Understanding of Email Marketing related issues, such as Spam or Permission Marketing
* Very strong negotiation skills
* Consumer-product management and product marketing

* Very analytical and metrics oriented
* Ability to convert analytical findings into specific, clear recommendations, actions
(ability to interpret data),
* Concise and precise communication (“to the point”); can explain, convince, and
translate the service-related needs of different departments to others – orally
and in written

* Creative / unorthodox when searching for solutions
