Childcare options in Stuttgart - Germany

Hi,
We are moving to Stuttgart to work on the base this summer. Our child will be 4 months old. What are our options for childcare? I know we'll probably be wait-listed forever to get into childcare on base so are there any options for off-base care? Thank you!

The CDC also has a list of family childcare providers who live on base and are certified to provide child care. You can add yourself to the list at the Base childcare centre too. If you are dal military you go to the top of the list otherwise you have to wait for a place.
