TT meet up for picnic and ball games

Looking at the weather forecast we might have trouble keeping a BBQ alight even if we were allowed to have it there. Do we have a back-up plan for rain?

If the weather gets bad we could just postpone until the 10th at Mapleleafdude's house.

Should we move it over to the Stadtpark so we can BBQ? I don't mind just bringing already prepared stuff and things to make sandwiches, etc. so we can keep it at P & B.

Last time the weather turned for the better and there is a huge roof at the playground at PB.

Pre made stuff is fine no hassle.

Ok lets do pre made stuff then -thats fine for me too. I'd be happy to switch to Stadtpark but if there is a big covered area at P&B then thats better in case it does rain.I'm not sure what to bring now food wise mmmmm?

I was thinking of bringing a pasta salad or deviled eggs (mmm.) I'd love to make cocktails as Shell suggested - can anyone bring ice?

only 2 L/sqm of rain on Sunday so we could just make a quick dash if it does rain for the roof.

hello everyone, we are back from our vacation in Kansas. hope its not too late to join the crowd for tomorrow. we would be 2 adults and 1 child-- we'll definitely bring some dessert. have schoko muffins and strawberry cake left over from today. oh and plenty of stuff to drink to keep hydrated. is it still on for planten and blom at around 1?

We'll be there too but we're going somewhere else this morning so if we're not at Dammtor at 1pm then we'll see you either at the big playground or the grass where we had the picnic before. I have Jerry's mobile number so I can find out where you are. See you later.

Sorry for the late post...My husband and I will stop by with my daughter (almost 1 year old). We are meeting another couple with their child at P&B and they are also English speaking. I have made some Honey Joys ('cos I know you like them Marymanu) and Mars Bar slice, another Aussie delight. I am going to grab some rolls on the way and some meats and stuff too. All my plans to make some lovely, home made, savoury yumminess went out the window yesterday with most of my other plans .

We will see you all at Dammtor at 1 - hopefully the rain stays away for the afternoon.

I might be there more at 1:05. If I don't see you at the Southside exit, I have Shell's mobile number and can hopefully figure out where you are.

Well we made it yesterday but as I found out too late that the only face I know couldn't make it then we didn't manage to meet up with anyone else. Never mind, we still had fun and maybe we get to meet next up next time.

we waited at dammtor for about half an hour. sorry we missed you. the kids were getting restless so we decided to find a place to sit and picnic. we were right near the playground, between the botanical gartenshaus and the covered sidewalk to the playground. for anyone who wants to see pics i posted a few in the gallery. i like the one where noah is pointing something out to his parents and you can see grace and sequoia doing cartwheels in the background

Sorry I need to check more often, we were on the Ostsee on Sunday. The weather wasnt too great, it rained off and on the whole day.
We did manage to get in some playground and beach time inbetween though.

Sounds great Hammonia. The BBQ will be on the whole time so everyone can bring any other stuff to put on.
