The weather doesn't looks good for tomorrow. Anyone want's to try Klick Kindermuseum? Or what's the plan?

If the weather tomorrow is like today (which wasn't that bad) are we still going to meet or do we decide tomorrow morning? Should interested parties log on at about 10 o clock to discuss? Or should we just decide now to go somewhere indoors? We've not been to any of the indoor attractions yet so I can't make any suggestions but it would be nice to finally meet up with some of the TT faces. I think it was Shell who suggested this meet up - do you want suggest a course of action?

Sorry. We aren't going to be able to make it on this occasion. A shame because I was looking forward to meeting a few people and it would have been great for the kids too. Perhaps next time! Hope the weather holds for you!!

shucks guys, i cant come-Noah still a bit off and very grumpy and now I am starting to feel rough too...looks like its going to be a nice day now too-can someone who is going pm me there number just in case we change our minds later, would really love to come but not sure if can make it for 1pm but we can come and find you all later on.

We're out. Visitor from Australia arrived early and kids up at 5am. I think they will all crash (along with us) early. I hope that you all have a great time. Perhaps if there is a next time we will get to meet you all.

So, waht's the verdict? Did you end up going to Planten un Blumen? How did it compare to the Stadtpark?

P&B is more fun for kids, playground is great. I liked Stadtpark too, so no verdict

July looks pretty full for me, but what about a meetup again in August?

Are we still going to meet up a week from Sunday? If so, I propose we meet at Planten un Blumen. What time is good for everyone and where did you meet last time?

Last time we met at Dammtor station and walked in from there. Found a nice little green spot with space around for Frisbee. Suggest everyone brings a pram/buggy because the walk is a few minutes but we can feed the ducks and fish on the way in again

Should we say a theme for food and drinks? What worked last time? Or was there just as much food as before? (Yum)

last time was sort of self serve but a theme or just suggesting something will be ok.

Anyone got a nice BBQ they can bring , then people bring steaks, sausages, salad etc ... and drinks of course , if its anything like it is today LOTS of drinks

I don't have a BBQ but would be happy to bring stuff to put on it.

We are going to try and make it this time, though we have a party the night before that may make us slow off the mark on Sunday. As for BBQs, you can buy disposable BBQs for about 2€ and they work a treat. You can't fit heaps on them, but enough for a few people, so perhaps if you want to BBQ, BYO disposable one.

I can bring along 2 disposable bbqs, 1 can be for meat and 1 for veggies and stuff. So where and what time are we all meeting. I am going to bring some stuffed peppers for bbq, burger material (burgers, buns, cheese slices, onions and baps). I will also bring a salad... Whats the cocktail of choice this time-Laurel is the master at the cocktails, so i'm happy to bring some ingredients along for that too.

@ Laurel-I am actually a newbie at cocktail making, so I think you should decide-Mohitos are always nice in the sun or caprissimos (not sure of my spelling there), what do you think? Let me know what ingredients to bring along..

Having not been before, do we just bring stuff and share or what's the go?
My plan was to bring a BBQ for some meaty bits that I shall also bring. I'll make some sweet treats for afters too.

Just a heads up for the 10th. I'm offering my garden as venue if the weather is still nice then. BBQ is already there and I'll make burgers and try my hand a peanut buster parfait.

@ Purple Hoggy-we all share what we bring, makes it more fun that way. Sweet treats sound yummy.

@Mapleleafdude-that sounds lovely-I do miss having a garden-its more relaxing in a garden with kids coz at least they have an enclosure so cant run off too far.

I was over P&B today with a friend and she made a valid point, we have never actually seen anyone have a bbq over there, where usually over parks there are barbies going everywhere. Is it definately allowed over P&B? I know it is quite a protected area...

Just had a look on there website and it doesnt say anything about them not being allowed so its probably ok. I had just never seen anybody having a bbq over there before and didnt want to get one going only to be told we cant have it

Generally, in lots of parks you do get a problem, most of them have a special area where it's allowed, but not in any other areas. In some parks they are really strict = asking you to leave the premises...
