Offer on Blau.de SIM cards

Hi,

My first post! How exciting. I'm just about to start (5th May!) a 6 month job contract in Stuttgart. I don't speak any German yet, but hey. I'm sure I'll find people to phone ...

So, I want a SIM card for my phone. I've done some research and it seems blau.de is good, especially as it has auto top-up and altavista seems to do a decent-ish job with their web page.

The home page says there's a 10€ kickback if someone recommends me. I assume I will get something extra too? Couldn't work that out. So, does anyone have a Blau SIM and want to do the "recommend a friend" thing? I can't see there being any catches for either of us. Would that be a fair asumption? Obviously, no one here knows me (to the best of my knowledge) so if there's any risk I'll understand if I get ignored ;)

It seems that any incentive to the new subscriber (20€) stopped on 30th April, so there's no incentive for me to wait to be recommended.

Well, this turned out to be a rubbish first thread! I'll do better next time, honest I'm bound to have questions about Stuttgart at some point ...

There is a current incentive program, but it ends soon; Sept 30.
