Bavarian/Italian Restaurant near Airport

I need to find a restaurant with either Bavarian or Italian cuisine. I don't know the area very well, like the villages (hallbergmoos, Freising, Eching).
I need it for a business dinner so it can easily be reached by taxi and has a nice ambiente and good food of course.

Any help is appreciated!

There is an Italian restaurant at the airport which isn't bad.

Hiya BubblyLady: Try calling up the Restaurants at the Kempinski Hotel, I think they should have some choices for you. Lots of suits and easy access to the airport -it connected actually so no need for an additional taxi. Note: ask them about their facilities, there's a restaurant/bar off the lobby but perhaps they have something more private.

There's an Italian/Indian (really) called Rama here in Ismaning by the S-8 exit. The food's good though the prices are on the high side. Exit the station in the outbound direction and look to the left for the small cluster of stores/restaurants.

And I forgot about the restaurant in the airport, i think it's called Il Mondo or something!

A very good Bavarian restaurant (and Biergarten in summer) is called Dicke Sophie and is right at the S-Bahn stop Johanneskirchen. (When you get off the S-Bahn, go out the right exit and it's across the road). it's very well known and even Schicki Michis come out into the stix to eat there From Ismaning maybe 10 mins ride, from the airport, 20 mins ride.
