Index of all where to buy topics ever posted to TT.

Currently 412 products are listed.

The most sought-after item appears to be Cheddar cheese.

Something I've never understood. After discovering there's more to cheese than organge or yellow flavoured plastic I've vowed never to eat Chedddar again. Then right now I dson't eat cheese at all. Trisete!

I think this thread showing the index should be posted somewhere prominent so that the "searchers" don't have to ask yet again where to buy a particular thing!

Good list Editor Bob. My favourites just based on titles are where to buy 2kg of lead, banana juice and exam supervisors.

Crap list. No marmite.

Number eighteen in the list. More popular than mince pies, less popular than puppies.

You must have spelt it wrong and just corrected. I am invincible so there is no chance I spelt it wrong when running my search.

I didn't see peanut butter, black beans, or cornmeal, which it seems people are always asking me about. Peanut butter and cornmeal are at most asian shops, no iea about black beans.
alika
Also American style brown sugar. There is a brand called Wang Kanai labeled Natural Brown Sugar found at most Asian shops that is a very reasonable likeness.
Editor Bob
Brown sugar is now number seven in the list, and peanut butter around number forty-five.

Ok ok, I admit, the list isn't quite 100% complete. It's automatically generated but clearly the algorithm is in need of further tweaking.
GreenTea
Cool list, with some interesting juxtapositions:

"Stuffed Wolpertinger" next to "Thanksgiving turkey";
"Glühwein out of season" next-but-one to "Cuckoo clock on a Sunday" (I mean, really, there's a time and a place for everything);
And listed as a single item: "Bleach and bacon bits"

They're listed in order of number of topic views, but does that accurately reflect the demand for the product? A high view count could also be due to, e.g., time of day it was posted, whether it was linked to from elsewhere, who posted, and even misinterpretations of the title. For instance, high on the list is "Grass", and not a few users may have been disappointed to find advice on buying seed for their lawn, when they were expecting something else. Oops, no, having written that, I clicked on the topic, and turns out it is about "something else" . Then again, there's also "Snow", and "Snow around Central Germany", which are in fact about, um, yeah, that white stuff that falls out of the sky in winter. Amazing the things you can buy these days. Even this:

where to buy 2kg of lead, banana juice and exam supervisors.
Is it legal to list exam supervisors who can be "bought"?
Kay
My favourite items on that list are (in addition to the "2kg of lead", already mentioned):

- The following kind of sandals
- This specific English-style lamp
- Used or aged materials

I see that cannabis has finally overtaken Cheddar cheese in the most sought-after products list.

If
Cannabis (132 replies)
and
Cannabis (marijuana) (43)
were added, it would have won long ago.

I predict Thanksgiving Dinner Ingredients to rise in the list toward the end of next month.

Cheetos can't be far behind then...
