Alternatives to Vattenfall - Berlin

Hi all,
I have had it with Vattenfall. Yesterday I found out that they have been (self admittedly) overcharging me by 90 Euros a month. My huge hydro bills have put a big strain on my budget and now, after falling behind 2 months in payments, they are threatening to cut me off. We told them to even out the overcharging and give us back the extra money to prevent the cut off but these idiots said they have to clear the current bill before they investigate the over charging. We now have to pay more overcharged bills to keep the hydro but we want to switch ASAP. My feeling is that any company MUST be better than Vattenfall.
Any suggestions as to what energy company will treat me like a human being?

It is a Bio/Ogological private energy company. I personally do not use them but I know several people who do and are happy with them.

What you do exactly mean by overcharging? It is normal that they do not read the counters often, maybe once a year, so, the first year they charge you with some kind of average consume from the past, once they read the counters they will either charge you the difference or give you back the balance and they will update the average they charge you for the next year.

one that doesn't mind if you don't pay the bill ...maybe ..just a thought
