I want to get my car professionaly valeted (detailed in American speak) but I can't find a
good translation of the term, therefore I can't get a good search going for such a service.

Anyone know how the Germans refer to such a service ?
Derek
The nearest term I can find is Autoreinigung but that just finds Autowaschstrasses (car wash's). I want the full monty that takes all kinds of creams and potions and needs hours rather than 5 minutes.

Google this "Auto Aufbereitung Augsburg"

I think this is the sort of place you're after (this on's just around the corner from where I work which is how I know about it). It comes up in Yellow pages under 'autopflege', so try searching for that, or 'fahrzeugpflege'.

Thanks a lot smile.gif That was the term I needed, Autopflege. Now I'm overrun with options smile.gif Those two above did look good, but I don't often get to Munich. I've found a few in Augsburg that seem reasonable. I don't need perfection, just a jolly good waxing and polishing by a pro using the best products and equipment smile.gif
