DOULA - A professional who provides emotional, physical, informational and practical support for the expectant, laboring and post birth mother. i am a mum of two children and in the middle of my training to be a birth Doula. I am english and speak some German. "Having someone present who trusts in the birth process, who wants nothing more that for the mother to have a positive birth experience and at the same time understands that there is a place and time for medical intervention, will radiate confidence onto the labouring mother.
