Segmüller voucher for sale - Munich

Anyone here currently buying furniture?
RajiJanu
Hello Friends,

A friend of ours placed an order for a dining table set from Segmueller. Then on the same day they cancelled the order as they liked a dining table set somewhere else. Sadly, they didnt see the printed information in small size font in German language which said they have to pay 500 euros on cancelling the order. Nobody also informed about it at Segmueller, when they were trying to cancel the order. They got the confirmation of cancellation of order very late also.So if they can buy 1900 euros worth of any thing they can get back 500 euros. So if anybody is interested in buying anything from Segmueller please PM me. I would give you their contact details. Also the interested person who would want to help them would get a hundred euro gutschein.

Cheers!

Just goes to prove that you should read the fine print of any contract you sigh. If its in a language you don't understand
then bring somebody along with you that can read it...

Good advice from Darkknight, but frankly I'd say rather unwanted both by the OP, and anybody else who has been shafted by Germany's peculiar consumer regulations.
Darkknight
Why? Because those people didn't read the contract, and blindly signed it, then they claim they got "Shafted" by the terms they agreed too...
If you don't want any surprises, then you read the contract before signing it. Had these people you speak of had actually read and understood
the contract terms they wouldn't have been shafted. Or perhaps if they didn't agree with the terms, they don't sign it but instead go somewhere else.

You can't claim you got shafted, if you didn't bother to take the time and read the contract to begin with. Thats just plain stupidity on the part of the
person who signed a contract without knowing the details.

Reminds me of the time I went into an Apothek and asked what to use to clear permanent marker from a whiteboard. Her reply but you shouldn't use permanent marker on a whiteboard.

Completely accurate, totally useless, and rather infuriating.

Doesn't Germany have a contract cancellation window where no bogus terms apply? I think it is 24 hours isn't it?
Darkknight
Methylated spirits will remove permanent marker... wink.gif
