Yes excellant idea that was Booley!
However, i think I would actually rather be sitting in the cinema rather than a cell
Kit Kat
Nov 18 2004, 2:09 pm
@canuck...only if you promise to carry my handbag as well as Arwen's
canuck
Nov 18 2004, 2:33 pm

canuck
Nov 18 2004, 2:50 pm
We should have a Tandem Naked Handbag Carrying contest?? That would separate the men from the boys...and it could qualify as a social event/meetup. Why am I posting this...
<note to self: Keep comments like this to yourself next time.>
Kit Kat
Nov 18 2004, 2:55 pm
Arwen, you need to keep your canuck under control...lovely bloke and all, but not sure all the ladies want to see him running around naked with handbags
canuck
Nov 18 2004, 2:57 pm
OK enough. I'll buy you a drink...That settles it. I owe you one from your birthday. So that means no naked purse carrying competitions??
Arwen
Nov 18 2004, 2:58 pm

JoolyBooly
Nov 18 2004, 2:59 pm

Nov 19 2004, 8:14 am
I would suggest meeting in Bardales beforehand. Why? Because I like it and they sell Bridge-stylee Chardonnay (v. good). And it isn't far away.
If there is enough interest I can reserve a table?
For info, the film starts at 8:00pm.

@ canuck noooo... it was the one with the big maple leaf on it, you know? The one you wear when figure skating (althought then, thankfully not in the nude)
Kit Kat
Nov 19 2004, 3:14 pm
@elfenstar, indeed there are worse bodies out there, but we wouldn't want to increase canuck's ego too much now would we!
and moving back on to the subject...went to the cinema last night and picked up a ticket for myself and for spuzzum +1 on row 14. There are a good few tickets left though, so if anyone else wants one, just head down there this weekend.

grrrr, went to sneak preview on Friday and it was Blurry Bridget Jones
so if anyone wants a ticket let me know, don't know if I'll survive both films again.
And Toast / Arwen, don't bother reading the book firest.. they use about 2 sentences in the film, otherwise it's completely different.
Showem
Nov 22 2004, 10:59 am
Well, it's not completely different, but it's true, don't bother reading the book, it won't make a difference.
Jooly et co. you all disappeared? We were up for a late night drink, but when we got out, none of you were about.

OK, as stated higher up in the thread, I bought the tickets.
Some tickets have already been distributed to people who I have seen *however* my bag went missing on Friday evening. The extra tickets were in that bag.
The police have been notifed.
The bag has not yet been located BUT cinema München have said that they will honour the missing tickets as the block booking was impossible to miss.
Those without paper tickets must wait until all other guests have entered the cinema and then take their seats.
Yes I am sorry for any inconvience involved but your seat if safe (even if your paper ticket wasn't).
Please feel free to slate me off about this - frankly I couldn't feel any worse than I do already.
Thanks,
Katrina

are the people without paper tickets.
Row 13, seats 1-5 and 14-18 are the tickets concerned.
These people should wait with me in the foyer. All others who have their paper tickets should go in. We're just going to match bums to seats (the reservation numbers have helped to do the tracing).
Thanks

@Shaggy, just sent you a PM.. I know that I had asked Kit Kat a week ago or so to buy two tickets for me when she said she was going down to the cinema that evening. But I never got confirmation from her or a PM saying she actually got them. Definitely only need two tickets.. If this is already purchased for us, then great! Thanks.

bardales is in the side street next to the cinema, coming from Stiglmaier Platz you swing a left at the cinema corner, and I think it's just down there on the right

Right, here goes:
@Bubblegum
This message includes the name of the bar. Bardales website.@Bubbly: if you cannot get there for 8, please let someone know via SMS that this is the case. I guess that we can leave a ticket for you at the ticket office if needs be.
@ all: I will be in the foyer at 7:45. All those with paper tickets should go straight in. Those without should find me or someone who can point you in the right direction.
We wait together until everyone is inside then we can go in.
Any other issues?
