Two statues on a building near Kurfürstenstraße - Munich

Anyone know anything about these two guys in Schwabing sitting on a residential house. Are they Feuerwehr or what?

They remind me of this guy (not Tintin, the mask on the ground).


But seriously, I bet the building was designed and built during the Third Reich, you get that kind of decoration everywhere.

yeah there's those really similar stormtrooper heads in stahlhelm on that building down opposite the eisbach wave, these ones look like those

That's the Ministry of Economics, previously the Luftwaffe headquarters, also mentioned on the Swastika thread for the swastikas still visible in the grilles in the wall down Oettingenstrasse but carefully removed along Prinzregentenstrasse.

Are they maybe from the 1920's? The facial style is not really typically DR. The Reichswehr used the M16, M17 and M18 pattern helmets which are similar to the types used by the DR...difficult to see from the angle of the photo if these are what are shown here.
