Selling English-language books at a flea market
Could I make money? Better in Munich or Stuttgart?
If I set up a table and sold fiction and cookbooks in English at a fleamarket in Stuttgart...do you think I could make any money? Or if I drove to Munich I could do the same. And any ideas on other books that may be popular by expats. Thanks!
Books in English are more popular with Germans than you realize. The fiction will sell. Cookbooks are pretty useless over here unless they are metric (nobody likes to convert!). I'd try Amazon used books for those.
I usually get 4€ for recent/popular books, less for the others. I'd say less than 2% of the buyers are native English speakers.
