Hi...

I am currently living in Düsseldorf and have recently relocated from London. I am now looking for employment. I have various skill sets such as being a graphic designer for 6 years, i have also worked in the restaurant business and commercial shops. I also have experience in child care. I am always willing to experience new tasks and am a fast learner. I speak English, French, Arabic and a bit of German and Spanish due to my international upbringing. I multi-task (one of the benefits of being a woman smile.gif), i have excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work well under pressure and tight timelines.

If anyone you know has an opening for a job which relates to the above, i would be grateful if you could assist me.
Or if anyone is looking for a graphic designer, shop assistant or a nanny i would be more than happy to help.

For more information my email is: rawan888@hotmail.co.uk

With kind regards

Hey,

I'm also looking for work with Illustration or Graphic Design. My German isn't the best but maybe we can help each other out when it comes to the job search.
If I see anything I'll be glad to run it by you.

I am sure many people are struggling too! I would be more than happy to help too...

What king of Illustrations do you do? And what field of advertising did you work in? Commercial or more design?

I guess it would be commercial.

My degree is in Media Arts and Animation. I do comics, illustrations, mascots and animation via FLASH for commercial purposes as of late. But I'd like to do
something that doesn't require me to stay as a freelancer. I want something solid.

Have you both thought of teaching english?

It's a good solid job to keep you going while you work on your own projects and find more work.

I work with a graphic designer right now, in my school. You get to interact with people everyday, learn more about the city than you would in many other jobs and it's fun. If it's something that might interest you, let me know and I can put you in touch with the guys I work for...

Dear Logan

You have no idea how excited i was to read your email. It is so hard to find anything here if you dont speak the language.

What school is that? Is it in Düsseldorf? Your help sounds interesting and fun but I am not quite understanding, is it a position for graphic designer or english teacher?

I think to be a teacher one would need certain qualifications to be hired, is that right?

Thank you for your help also.

I like being in a teacher- student hands on environment so if my BA in Media Arts and Animation can get me a teaching job I'd be down for it. However I've already have 3 or 4 bad crosses for trying to get jobs teaching English already when I lived in Hamburg. All denials. But if you can help, please, I'd appreciate it greatly.
