Anyone know a liquor store in Hamburg that would carry Tequila that isn't the shit they normally have over here? Maybe some patron? The best I could find was Cuervo silver and some bottle wearing a plastic sombrero that I am morally opposed to purchasing..

I've been in search of the same FOR EVER with no luck. So I'll be watching this thread. I bring tequila back from the US every year because I can't find it anywhere here.

"Sierra" is the brand with the Sombrero and I agree, it ain't tequila. However, the black sombrero which isn't very often carried, but can be found at Kartstadt, is pricey and not half bad. We had it at a birthday party and did shots and it went down surprisingly well! In cocktails I imagine it's a charm.

I bought some Cuervo Gold at the Airport. I've never found Padron.

try the weinquelle in Lübecker Str. Just went on their site they have Patron but it's pricy. They deliver or you can visit their shop. The website is updated every day. So what you see on their website is what they really have in their store and what they can deliver immediately.

Winequelle is near my house, they didn't have Padron in December 2007. I had asked them for it before I went back the US so I could decide to buy some in the US or not. It's cool to know that maybe, possibly, they take requests. They are a more expesive outlet in general, however, I can attest that they have a huge selection in a on place and the staff is very helpful and know all about the specialties they carry.
