Muay Thai and kickboxing gyms - Berlin

Hello!

I am moving to Berlin within a week and was wondering if anyone knew any relatively inexpensive Muay Thai/Kickboxing gyms? Thanks!

There's one in kreuzberg that does MT and BJJ too, google 'berlin free fight'

it depends, do you train for fun or are you a fighter?

I have fought, but not in carded fights, but I haven't trained in a few months. I really want to get back into it and possibly fight, but certainly not right away.

if you are serious about fighting, Julia Fikus has just started running womens thai boxing fight classes at Box Tempel in Lehderstraße. They re quite new, so not so many girls yet. They also have kickboxing, boxing and MMA classes. You pay €30 a month for classes, or 35€ for classes and use of the gym equipment as often as you want. They are also open everyday of the week from 8am til 10pm i think off the top of my head. Ive been there for about 2 weeks now, ive checked out other places, but this is the best, coz theres not many places that offer females serious chances to fight in the ring. http://www.dekontaminierung.eu/boxtempel/index.htm

I live in Mitte and was also looking for a serious Thai-boxing gym.
First I went to http://www.mma-berlin.de/ and checked them out. They weren't really hardcore.

Then I found http://thaiboxgym.com/ in Lichtenberg. This gym is hardcore. I couldn't even find it when I went the first time in the winter...You have to walk down a dark alleyway and go through an unmarked door. It's a gym right out of a Rocky movie. If you like hardcore, you'll love this place. 40eur per month. There are two females training there I believe...both speak english.
