S-Bahn problems for the last two weekends

Had problems on the S6 line for the last two Saturday afternoons which resulted in the train completing its journey (from Tutzing) at Pasing. Restarts again I think at Giesing but nothing through the stammstrecke. Any ideas what caused this? Hoping to go into Munich this weekend but not if there are problems with the s-bahn again, as I dont think I could face the stress of trying to get home!

Big track works going on the Passing side of the network. Today the S1 was only doing the Ostbahnhof to Feldmoching run. No runs to the airport.
For those on the S2 (erding) and S4 (Ebersberg) line, you may be in for the same as it looks like their getting ready to dig-up and reconstruct the Berg Am Laim
Station soon.

Two Saturdays ago there were electrical problems through the tunnel late morning to early afternoon. Don't know about last weekend. Check the MVV website tickertape for actual problems before youtravel, it is usually fairly up to date..

they have been doing the S4 for weeks, variable bits from Berg am Laim to Zorneding. Believe me, they continue through the night and we live next to the S-Bahn line

...I spent last Saturday afternoon on duty with the FFW evacuating trains - apparently there was some sort of electrical failure on the S6, but I heard that the FFW over in Herrsching was also busy with the same job - strange that there was nothing in the paper about it on Monday!
