Fusion Festival - music festival at Lärz airfield

We just got our tickets in t'post for this amazing festival and it feels like Christmas day... so I thought I'd see if anyone else on here was planning on attending or has attended in the past.

I can't recommend it highly enough - best festival ever (er, except for Roskilde). Cheap and incredibly cheerful... especially if you consume your bodyweight in goofballs.

The festival website, like last year, still doesn't make it clear where the event actually takes place.

It's about 100km north-west of Berlin, half-way to Rostock.

Oooh, sounds great. I think I'll be able to make it. As someone in the other thread mentioned, my first impression was a somewhat less crazy Burning Man.

It's really not clear from either the DE or EN version of the site...can you rent tents, or a space in a tent? Or are you just expected to lug all your own gear in a backpack?

Um...they don't list any bands on the web-site. Can we expect class acts or is it just an excuse to take drugs and shag in the countryside?

Depends on your definition of "class acts". They start releasing details of the acts in May, but they never release all the details. Whether it's to keep an element of surprise or because they keep booking right up until the end of June I'm not sure! You can look at the 2007/2006... sites and see who played then, though

I actually don't know about renting tents, will have a look into it. We took our own tent, I think that's standard practice. Get back to ya though...
