Commercial Manager Munich:

JOB ROLE.

My client is an International, online travel organisation based in Munich City. This is a sales role where the successful applicant will be responsible for contacting clients via the telephone and generating new sales opportunities for the commercial sales team. In addition to your own tenacious approach in creating leads through a variety of sources you will be supported with mailing lists and an existing client data base that are already in place as well as being responsible for closing your own deals and working closely with the commercial director.

MAIN DUTIES.
· Accurately develop and maintain own company database of leads and clients
· New business generation across industries and company sizes, introducing the companies services and advertising/sponsorship opportunities
· Support the sales team in making appointments
· Set and agree targets with line manager on a quarterly basis
· Responsible for qualitative and quantitative targets
· Responsible for individual and team targets
· Working closely with the campaign manager to ensure accurate tracking of campaigns

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION.

This is a challenging role and is very target orientated. A desire to succeed above all else is a necessity.

EDUCATIONS 6 QUALIFICATIONS:
· A business level fluent English and German

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE.
· Ability to use all windows applications
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure and in an ever changing environment

EXPERIENCE.
· Strong Sales background
· New Media/Internet experience
· Demonstrate how targets were exceeded
· Previous experience in the travel industry and good tourism industry understanding
· Desirable: worked for an major internet related company

PERSONALITY.
· A passion for the web and the potential of E-Commerce
· Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail
· Proactive team player
· Self-motivated
· Work to tight deadlines with a can do attitude
· Willingness to go beyond the call of duty to get the job done.
