Okay, now there's a small group of us almost organised to go for lunch. If you'd like to join us, feel free to PM me and I'll send you my mobile number so that we can organise you too.

Check out the house across the street TexasT. The guy has to be motivated as it has been empty for months and no one is looking at it.
Huge garden, fireplace and wooden floors. Direct on the U6.
TB is only 7-10 minutes by car, so on a bicycle it should only be like 15-20 once you figure out the shortcuts.

Maybe a dumb question, but, where is this place? I'm interested in checking it out, but searching through this thread and the blog and the non-existant website for the address plumb tired me out...

Lunch was great yesterday! There was only a small group of TTs this time. Maybe we could turn it into a weekly "meet for lunch" event. During the first 6 weeks there'll be a different menu every week.
I'm not a food critic so I'm not gonna write a whole lot about the different dishes we tried. However, if you're into soups you should try the eggplant soup! Excellent!
Then there is the Mango salsa, still my favorite! Well, just go and try everything...

Yes, the food was good and the service was friendly. The company was tops! However, we arranged to meet at 12:30 and I think I left at nearly 3 pm. A bit too long for lunch on a regular basis. A lot of that was our own fault of waiting for others, not knowing what we wanted to eat, etc. But if I go again for lunch, I'll be watching the clock a whole lot more and when I finish, I'll leave, rather than hanging around.

agree with all the above, we had a fun time yesterday and the aubergenie and brie soup was indeed excellent.
it did take a bit too long, though

We were there for an early dinner...very nice ambience on a cold November evening. People sitting enjoying meals by candlelight or hanging chatting by the bar...was really nice.
Food was tops...fresh salsa was delicious...very big portions...too filling (don't have beer with your meal!)
Looking forward to the menu change in two weeks...then I get to play with the crayons again

mole, not moleS
it's a Mexican sauce, actually there are different types of mole and the brown/black mole often/usually is made with chocolate not made from squeezed little moles.
