Concert: MGMT @ the 59 to 1 club - Munich

Supposed to be a bit like the Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev. The cd's worth checking out. Tickets 17€ from München Ticket. Got mine.

i'm definitely into the idea, but is there a place where i can physically go and purchase tickets? i don't have a german bank/credit card yet.

are other people from here going, too?

There are numerous places to get tickets in person. The most accesible are the two box offices at Marienplatz (just go down one level where the SWM/MVG shops are). Or if youre over near Schwanthalerhöhe/Theresienwiese, there is a box office in Saturn near XXL Lutz.

There's also a ticket shop at Stacchus. Go down from the road level, and then down one more level again and you should be able to find it opposite the bakery.

Isn't there also one in Kaufhof at Marienplatz?

This one's been upgraded to the little Elserhalle and it starts a bit earlier now, from MT:

"die im Betreff genannte Veranstaltung wurde verlegt. Das Konzert findet nun in der kleinen Georg-Elser-Halle statt. Die Karten behalten Ihre Gültigkeit.
