Meeting of mature minds - anyone interested?

Hi all

I have been in Berlin with my husband since December, having given up a stressful job to spend some time here. Since he is working and I am not, I'd be interested in meeting up with anyone who'd like to visit the odd museum, go shopping, have a coffee during the day or anything else that involves appreciating Berlin, once or twice a week. I seem to be somewhat (well quite a lot) above the average age of Toytowners but surely I'm not the only 40 plus person who reads the forum!

If there is anyone interested, please let me know.

You might be interested in checking out this link to the BerlinKiezClub, started by members of ToytownGermany in their 30s and 40s.

There are quite a few planned events in the pipeline, they get posted in the Events and Meetups section a bit nearer the time.

I would offer to meet up but at the moment Im in the process of moving to a new apartment which is keeping me busy for the next couple of weeks. (And im not sure my mind would be described as mature)

I am also in my 40's and staying in Berlin with my husband and adult children until the end of the year. I would also enjoy meeting up with people here & I do not live far from Steglitz... maybe we could arrange to meet up sometime?

Thank you all for your information. I'm sorry I have not replied sooner but I've been flying back and forth to the UK for some weeks because of family illness and other things. It looks like I will be returning permanently, so I'm afraid I won't be able to pursue your suggestions.
