Hello to all! My name is Mehul A. and I am a new poster on this forum. I am currently in Atlanta, GA with intentions of coming to Germany for business! I am here to make a few connections and make the transition easier. I do not speak a word of German but will soon be purchasing everything Rosetta Stone offers on the language. I just wanted to say hello to everyone and properly introduce myself. I am originally from Longon, England however my family originates in India, but have been born in Africa for generations! I was the first generation born outside of that beuatiful continent since more then I can count on one hand! My interests include Automobiles, Motorsports, Sports, Music, Good International Cuisine, Vacations, and Current Issues.

I hope to become an active member of this board, make some friends for the time I spend in Germany and perhaps touchbase with a few entrepreneur's in the country!

A few questions I had immediately would be:

A) How would I go about legalizing a US Spec automobile in German?
B) What type of taxes could I expect to pay for importing my auto? If I were to sell the cars, what trouble would I have?
C) Where are the best driving roads in Germany? =)
D) Is the beer as good as they say it is?

Machus gut!
I think that is Take care in German...correct me if I am wrong!

You can find all the answers to your questions by doing searching. These are nothing new and have been posted before. We too are pretty new to Germany, only (3) months old! So welcome. Everyone has been very nice and helpful.

Below are the links that I will help you with some of your questions.

GERMAN ROADS

QUOTE
There are 3 types of roads in Germany:

1. Crowded Autobahns

2. Crowded, twisty back roads

3. Overcrowded, ill-marked city streets

Trust me, there are no other kinds of roads.
