Hi,

I would like to advertise for a very good language school in Heidelberg.

They offer Englisch and German classes for every level. The courses are affordable and one doesn't sit

in a class with 30 others, because they are reduced to 5-10 pupils. So everybody get's a chance to say

something.
If you would like to join a class or know somebody who does, just contact:

EFA Sprachschule,
Ringstr.19b,
69115 Heidelberg,
06221/6555509
e-mail: efa.sprachschule@freenet.de

Are you an employee or a former pupil?
philodia
I am a former pupil. I did a German course there a few months ago and was very satisfied!

Thanks for that. How long was the particular course you did. The reason I ask is that I am moving there in July and need to find a good language school. I have one reccomendation already, but another option would be good. Do they have a website?
philodia
The course I did was six months ago. Yes, they have a website but I would ring and ask for a program, too, because the site is not completed yet.

If you need any other information about Heidelberg just ask :-).

Thanks Philodia. I am sure I will be pestering you with questions once I get there. One question for you at the moment, what are the employment opportunities like in the immediate area. I have an accountancy background but am willing to do anything. My german is limited, hence the language course. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but I'm not sure where you can find a job. It's not that easy here at the moment. I think you'll have to come over and look around when you're in

the city, before you make a final decision. I mean, whilst you still have youre job in Ireland. To come without a job may be a bit risky, because of the job

situation at the moment. I bet you heard about the German beurocracy ;-)

Is it true that there are low-cost German classes provided by the government or a non-profit type of business? I had heard that one could take classes at a place like the library (or somewhere similar) and it was for a very low fee or even free.
