Under 25's Night Out!

hi all,

im reasonably new to munich and really need to get my act together and come to some of the TT events, but recently i've been doing other things on the evenings that look good and probably will be up until xmas, so i thought i'd grab the bull by the horns and start a thread. i saw that there was an over 35s night so im recommending an under 25s night, i kinda get the feeling that its not pushing the boundaries of age descrimination too much, so if your interested reply to this, not to sure of a plan thinking on the lines of bar then a club with drink in between best to keep it simple, any suggestions on location welcome,

I'd be in with no question about it...if I weren't in England for the next two weekends! If it goes well, hopefully there will be a repeat when I can go. (Or just postpone this one...just for my royal self!)

Some óf us were talking last night and theres a good (as i remember) italian restaraunt-'orchidee' at Max weber platz, and a jazz club-unterfarht 3 doors away. Can i suggest that as a plan?
A lot of us are going castle exploring that day (13th) and as we're unsure what time we are going to get back, i'd probaböy suggest around 8, so the rest of u aren't sat around waiting for us!

Cool, sounds like a plan chewy! Have a friend over from my uni for a long weekend and haven't planned anything yet, but this sounds like a definate possiblity for the sat night.

so this is the revised posting for the under 25s night, due to the response the date has been chaged to accomodate most people, but as iv learnt you cant please everyone so that is why it is suggested still going out this weekend if there is the interest? but this post is reference Saturday 20th November. the full details in terms of locations will be decided and posted closer to the date depending on what the rough agenda for the night is, but any alternative suggestions are still welcome! so if your interested then just reply to this, there is deffinate interest from people, but the more people we get the better!

pS. sorry if the change is a pain for anyone, if it is and you cant make the 20th then make yourself known for this weekend!

Ok, some of us going castle seeing still plan on going, even with the alternative under 25 night planned for the next weekend. If anyone not going to the castles wants to join us please pm me, and ill give u my mobile no. so we can let you know if we stuck in the middle of southern germany.

Going out tonight with a group of "Under 25's" to kultfabrik if any of you guys want a fun night out, then join us . Some of us will be in Kilians watching the rugby then we will head of to Ost. If you want to join us post reply or PM me. We can meet up at a bar in Ost if you just want to do the clubbing.

ok, so the night is gettin closer, and judging by the overwhelming majority, it looks like the pub/bar crawl is the most popular option!

i thought it would probably be best to keep it central, and to places that are in quick walking distance from each other, cos its bloody cold! lookin at some of the places listed on the TT website theres just to many to choose from, so it is going to be an international crawl, taking in some bar/pubs around marienplatz! general locations include:

1. Havana Club Bar - Cuban
2. Hofbrauhaus - German
3. Sausalitos - Mexican
4. Ned kellys - Australian
5. kilians - Irish
6. Buena Vista - Latino
7. ??? i was thinking of ending up in a place called 'Cord' its carrying on in the direction we would be going, and its open till 3, but its not a deff can decide on the night!

if people want to meet at the Havana Club Bar, around 19:30!

my co-worker just told me that the Havanna Club Bar is fantastic!
very good cocktails and friendly staff!

as for the clubbing: I would suggest Barysphär, which is located in Tumblingerstr. (Goetheplatz).

I'm new to Munich - been here just over a month - and would appreciate meeting some new people. Have been a bit reluctant so far but will try to join you guys at the Havana Club Bar if I can find my way from a basic map I'm scribbling on the back of a receipt. If you see someone looking a bit lost as they walk in, it's most likely to be me...

I have to say I think the night was wonderful! No there werent many pubs but there was still lots of beer and I think EVERYONE had a great time! (or was that just me?? hard to know after the fourth beer)

It was awesome night nice work Ben had a great time. Maybe next time you can drink all ya shots 'now lookin at nicole'
