Hey, I just heard that there's a new restaurant that has a magic show, or rather magicians come around to the tables... something like that. Anyone know the name of it? Or how about any other restaurant that has some sort of show involved? I'm trying to think of a cool place to takes clients where I don't have to 'carry' the whole night. Suggestions, thoughts, etc..?

Unless I am very much mistaken, you are thinking of the Alfons Schuhbeck Palazzo which is taking place in the 'Spiegelpalast' at Messestadt Ost.

The show runs from 9th October 2004 until 30th January 2005.

Can they make you disappear just before you get the bill?

We went to the Eckart Witzigmann PALAZZO last year for Xmas dinner. It was a great evening. Food was lovely, well presented & good portions. The show was wonderful.
Highly Recommended!

That's it! Thanks for the info... But I really should suggest a few places to my boss... so can anyone suggest some other cool places that have some sort of show or interactive thing going on so I don't have to amuse everyone? It's for about 20 people (all clients) for a kind of Christmas party thing. I'm just afraid of taking them out to dinner and it being very boring. I can hear the crickets already biggrin.gif

I would stick to this. Otherwise there's the Welser Küche where you can have a medieval dinner, that's fun... but the people have to be prepared to join in, eating with their hands and stuff... so I don't know what your customers are like!

At Palazzo there are different acts through the whole evening. Each act is WOW enough to have something to talk about till the next act... No need for any forced, uncomfortable silences etc. Lots to look at all the time.

The 2 hosts were very entertaining, and the "actors" move between the tables & interact & joke with the diners. The atmosfere is nice & welcoming... And nothing was in bad taste that your guests would feel uncomfortable/insulted etc..

OK, a company we use a lot decided yesterday evening to have their christmas party, strange, but apparently this was the only time they could get tickets, so we went to Eckart Witzigmann Palazzo near Donnersbergerbrücke, a fantastic evening. The entertainment is amazing.

There is an Indian comedian, and some amazing acts and a set of Spanish comedians.

Unfortunately it's all in German, so if you don't speak too much German, you won't understand some of the jokes. Tickets are expensive, but def a great evening out. cool.gif

They are only in Munich until 6th February 2005.
