I disagree; I think it's part of their business model! They want people who are at a crossroads in life so that they can step in and offer the "right" path. The only way they can sell their improvement courses and so-called clearing services is to first establish that there is a need for them. In other words, you COULD be healthy, but first you need to buy this. I think that's why they are so rabidly anti-psychiatry; they like people who could benefit from psychiatric help because those people are more likely to have a weakness they can exploit, and to be searching for something (rich and feeling lost- the perfect client). The first thing they do when you show up is try to break you down. They methodically try to brainwash you, and strong, healthy people don't like to be brainwashed, so they don't bite.
And I think Germany is an ideal market for them specifically because Germans generally are afraid of seeking psychiatric care (or at least admitting to it). So if someone comes along selling perfect clarity and mental health without the scary medical label, they're sold.
