I am due to move to North Stuttgart in a months time and would like to get an idea of rural properties to let (about 50km radius from Stuttgart centre). Can any recommend a letting agent that deals with rural properties.

Just prepare to get stung with the agency fees.

I'd recommend browsing the net yourself on www.immobilienscout24.de and if you see a property that you would consider, there would normally be an agent on there for you to contact.

If your German isn't up to dealing with various real estate terms, then try Immopool. It allows you to switch on the fly between English and German. Many German agents list their properties on both immobilienscout24 and immopool, though some don't so it is worth checking out both of them.
