there are lots of young Aussies in Essen - I met a whole bunch at the book club meeting

let me know if you get desperate for vegemite ... I'm pretty good at vegemite toast and coffee (Sydney style!) though I'm not very good on offering hours of endless sunshine

Hi! I'm also an Aussie, 24 f - living near Osnabrück, which to you is close enough by Oz standards but a long way away by German thinking... I have been here for a year and a half now, and still haven't found many live-in native english speakers... Worked as a nanny in Hamburg for a while, and there I met lots of english-speakers. Anyway, if you ever want to take a day trip to Köln, drop a line!!

maybe meeting in Munster would be more in the middle - though there is no chocolate factory there

You could meet up at the Mandragora, it is an institution and runs the beergarden at Konrad-Adenauer-Platz. Wednesdays wouldn't work for me though.
