Hello all. Am pleased to join this site and would be great to meet new some new people here in between German classes.
Any Brits out there want to meet up for drinks, game of pool, sport or whatever activity really?
Am missing talking about English stuff. You know Coro, football, Richard and Judy, fish and chips etc.
Give me a shout if you exist.

Hi All,

I live the other side of Böblingen to Stuttgart ( in Herrenberg ) and was just wondering what other Brits do on saturday nights. Would be really good to meet up for drinks and parties etc around stuttgart or even near böblingen, anywhere on the S1 is good for me!

Let me know people!

Thanks
Mapleleafdude
Being a Canadian I will explain what what I have been able to see what Brits do on a weekend.

8pm:start drinking
11pm:fall head first into the gutter(singing footballs coming home)

what an evening. wink.gif

They must have been taking it slowly that night.

I dont know what your talking about Mapleleafdude, I have never seen any Brits do that sort of thing.

Its more like start at 7pm and pass out on the kitchen floor at 3am.

although im not sure i could do that anymore...those were in the good old student days!!

Either way, a few drinks would be great!

Hey Alec

Get in touch mate and will go for a beer, possibly several ( in Yorkshire several means twelve wink.gif ).

Hey Poolshark,

Sorry, i completely forget about getting back to you. Im just sorting a few things out to move to a knew place a the moment and with extra work on its a bit stressful but i will get in touch when everythings sorted. I honestly never thought moving across town would be such a hassle!

No worries mate, I understand totally. Have moved countries a few times recently and do not want to do that again.

Just get in touch when you are sorted.

Greetings,

I am a new member called lx (lxie).

I'm originally from Cheshire, England but I recently relocated to Bad Cannstatt.

Btw if anyone is feeling homesick there is a big British Exhibition on at Breuningerland Tamm (A81 Ludwigsburg Nord).

Hey all. I just happened across this site and wow..
Been trying to find a site where I can meet people but its all in German so that doesn't help me.

Little about me.. I am 32, recently divorced, just got here (May), contractor (Patch), working nights. My little guy is 7 months old and he is a very happy baby.
Trying to find people to have dinners with, hang out with, and take some trips with. Yes I got baggage but we all have some kind ;-)

Or if you can tell me what goes on around here that would be great too. Just trying to get a feel for things and where things are. Like any good places to shop for kids clothes, diapers, and what not??

Thanks so much.

Hey all, Anyone up for some beers and some good indie music/gigs (if and when any decent ones come this way...)?

The Stuttgart section on Toytown has maybe 50 members in the area, if I read the map correctly.

We would be open to get out, but we have kids and have not found a babysitter. However, the biergarten down by the Hauptbahnhof has plenty of space for kids to run and plenty of beer to drink...

BTW, we are organizing a lunch cookout for the fourth of July for any Ameris that are looking for something to to off base. Max-Eyth-See NE side by grills.

Hey, what's up?

I'm new to this forum, but I've been in Stuttgart for almost three years now, and almost five in Germany. I'm from California, and after studying here I decided stay and work.

I'm not much of a drinker, so I don't think you'll find me at a pub, but rock concerts or group events sound pretty interesting. If anyone misses playing Ultimate Frisbee, there is a pickup game in Killesberg park on Sundays. It's a good way to learn some German and meet Germans!

Hello,

I'm not new to Stuttgart but new to TT. Great site. I'm also from California (Bay Area) and stayed to work after finishing school. Love it now, although, it took me a while to get there.

Hi... I'm McKenna. I'm from California - seems there are several of us here! I've been living in Germany for about a year and a half now (studying in Freiburg) but recently moved to Stuttgart. I love live music, trying new restaurants and exploring the city and nightlife...
Just browsed through the site and it looks great - exactly what I've been looking for! smile.gif So, hope to meet some of you soon!

Come to an event!

Can't be many places in the world which are so ecstatic about having a Bean Quarter that the celebrate it once a year.
Sera
Hi, I have been here for about 7 months from New Jersey. I would like to meet people for drinks etc. I like to go out clubbing and dancing. Does anyone know a good dance club that does not necessarily drive you insane with Techno?
