Meet up for Hohenzollernplatz residents II

Hello everyone,

after the success of the first Hohenzollernplatz meet up which took place more than 6 months ago, I was thinking of organising a new meet up next month.
We can still decide about the date, place etc..

So who wants to join?

Hi there,

Never knew there was such a gathering. I am game and I would like to suggest the newly revamped Eis Cafe on the platz itself. It's under new management I think and I am not sure how much the menu has changed but it looks great and seems like a great place for a cuppa whatever. I am not around till 6 May so may I suggest something during that week

I'll be around after May 17.

Ok so it seems that a few people will be away at the beginning of May. What about May 18 th ? Its a sunday. As regards the venue, I am not sure that Eis Cafe would be appropriate for such a meeting. Here are my suggestions : Wasserman, Cennet. Other suggestions welcome!

Sorry but can you clarify - why would it not be suitable? Can you let us know what kind of place would be suitable then - I did not come to first one so I can't claim to know any different

Eis Cafe is more an Ice Cream place. The first meet up took place at the Cennet, people had drinks and food. As mentioned suggestions are welcome as are opinions.

Okay, agreed, but the place is under new management, has a bar, is now a restaurant and Cafe and nowhere in the name does the word 'Eis' appear. Perhaps if I sauntered over there this evening and took a look at the menu. Don't mean to push the idea or anything but it seems appropriate to meet up on the Platz itself and this place is promising. I will post more info when I have it and then perhaps we can completely discount it if the menu is not suitable?

Jozy, any chances that the waiters are hot there ??? ;-)

Fact is that I passed in front of this place recently and noticed one or two hotties...

I would be interested, but can't commit to anything happening on a weekday for the moment. The 18th would work for me.

Can't say that I noticed any particular hotties in the male deparment but there were some mighty fine vehicles parked outside when they were renovating!! I will put that on my list to check up when I look at the menu - which I forgot to do today!!

How about Egger, down Hohenzollerstr? It was mentioned the other day for a FBG location... and I think it could be rather suitable for an evening thing like this. The place is nice, it has an outside bit (albeit a small one) and a nice vibe to it (at least the times I have been there). Anyway... just saying it as an alternative.

Egger is also a good idea!
No other suggestions yet. If no debate takes place re. the venue I will be fixing it next week.

Ok I have another suggestion. We can have all evening cocktails for 4.50 at the Cennet. I know we went there the first time but the terasse is now open and sitting outside is really nice!!! What do you guys think ??
