It was mentioned in this thread. I didn't mean to claim that it was you who mentioned it.

One last word on the editing of posts without notification: The problem is not only that the respective poster might not agree with the edit - the problem is also that they might never find out about it, i.e. never get a chance to do anything about it if they don't agree with the edit. What's the point of having posters' names next to their posts when you can't be sure that the posts weren't tempered with and reflect what a mod thinks should have been said instead of what the respective poster intended to say? Again - nothing of this is a matter of life or death but in my opinion editing posts without at least notifiying the poster goes against what message boards were actually intended for.

I don't think BBoy knows what he is writing most of the time. He obviously didn't pay much attention in school (or if he did, he didn't understand it) otherwise he'd know that subtraction is a form (i.e. subset) of arithmetic and that arithmetic is a form mathematics. Even someone with an IQ of 70 can understand that.
